Almost forgot to report back! Adam and I went to the University of Bridgeport, and saw Dr. Zangara. She did a full exam and measured Adam for SWAMI (Genotype Diet Software Program) as well...We got some great advice and an elaborate printout of suggested foods, therapies, and supplements, including the SWAMI info and recipes. Although the supplement regimen is extensive, he seems to be improving and was back to school today. We are taking an integrated approach, but for now, he is decreasing his prednisone and on a low medication for Crohns Disease. The building that they have at U of B is an old home that has been restored to its original splendor, and is absolutely gorgeous! Staff was excellent.
