Almost on daily basis i write "something" and post on Facebook.....when the comments start coming in.....am particularly "concerned" with how i deal and respond to those that have a "differing" opinion.......atimes...some people will even use insulting, degrading and abusive words to get their position across....most often than not...i refrain from answering/replying them.......but i have come to realize that it is the ability to remain composed under such malevolent attacks that helps me access my true personality...............consequent upon this...i have realized that "MOST" people on Facebook are accommodative/friendly insofar you do not express a "different" view from their post.......! and i must say that 99% of the people that express such intolerance most often than not are those that call or label themselves as Christians and/or de-tribalised.......yes..!!! what is Christianity without tolerance..? what is Christianity without respect even in disagreement..? what is the meaning of being de-tribalised when you stink of "inflated" ego..? what is being ethnically "UN-baised" when......the next minute...they are fighting you........reminding you within the "fight" about how objective they are...devoid of ethnic/tribal sentiments......!! the mere fact that you introduce yourself as a Christian...and a de-tribalised person shows me truly who you are...none of them...! why not allow me to see who you are and access for myself...??? every word you write down is a reflection of your deep seated "personality"...even the one you would rather conceal from the world......words are presentations of the SELF... Facebook is the window through which you "show" the world who you are....and it is also the window through which the world tell you about IT-SELF...... i have not met many of my Facebook friends physically but i know them well enough by their words.......... Facebook.....am sure,in the mind of the founder...does not depict the literal meaning of "face & book" ....but the .....expression of the "inner" personality.....everyone is unconsciously doing this without knowing....that the world watches.......!!! when next you are about to write anything on Facebook....realize that you are about to "show" the world who you really are, behind the facade you parade outwardly....!!!
