Almost ten years ago,Arjun Sengupta showed in his book that seventy seven% people in our country live in below poverty line.that means 80 crores are under poverty line,but Govt. did not agree Arjun`s figure. Montek Singh of planning commission said not 77% only 27% in poverty line! Ok ,we agree with Montek Singh,but now,the govt. is saying that Food security Bill scheme will cover 67% poverty stricken people under this scheme. That means, the govt. has acknowledged that not 27%, but 67% live in poverty line,that means 79 crores. Just think, to whom we give the responsibility to rule our country.They are master in economics from prestigious University in abroad. `
