Aloha Honors members! Please read the following! Cool Campus Activity Opportunity: Volunteers needed! We are beginning plans for the 2013 Life Raft Debate (2.0). When last we left our heroic faculty, they were clinging to the top of the K building as they watched the rest of their colleagues being swept away by the rising waters. About to lose all hope, the professors suddenly see salvation in the form of a life raft of students (ironic, isn’t it?)! But the life raft has only one spot left! Which survivor will be able to talk his or her way onto the raft by making sound and persuasive arguments as to their discipline’s importance? Who will be saved!? Needless to say, this sounds hilarious and lots of fun! We need your help to man the booths where students will come nominate faculty survivors they think could make it on that life raft! I know I can already think of good candidates! Sign up is on D2L under discussions. Just put your name and what day you wish to volunteer! The booth will be in the first floor of the Student Center lobby Mon. Sept. 23- Fri. Sept 27. We need two people for each day. Just make sure you read previous posts so you know who has already volunteered for what days. Sign-up soon!
