Aloha I had one of the most humbling experiences of my life today. I had to stop by the store to pick up stuff. (keeping it private) I had the nicest young man wait on me at the register. Hes super happy go lucky. He tells me how happy he is at his job. So I say thats awesome, its always good when you enjoy your work. He goes on to tell me, my boss is so understanding. I say really, thats great. He says I have to have surgery next month, bone grafting from my hip to my arm. Im like oh wow, I hope it goes well for you. He has a cast on his arm. He then goes on to share he has bone cancer. He has the biggest smile and no care in the world attitude. Im devastated by his news. I ask so whats your plan, he says the doctor hasnt got one yet besides the bone grafting. He says the doctor told him its totally curable. And Im like yes its curable. I ask him if the cast on his arm is the arm he says yes. I say may I, gesture towards his arm. He nods yes. I pule in Hawaiian over him. Then I got the meanest chicken skin up and down and back up again especially in my crown chakra. I go to take my things outside. When I return my buggy I realized this kid must think Im nuts and said some kind of mumbo jumbo. So I step back in the door and let him know I was saying prayers in Hawaiian. He tells yes maam I know my friend is from Hawaii. We giggle. And he tells me God Bless You. So my beautiful friends please pule for this young man. We need more happy people in the world.
