Alok Srivastava Dear Modi ji, Enough of big talks, we all know congress is most corrupt, dynastic party, they spoiled the nation and and now they are a dead party. I dont think anybody is interested in emotive issues like whether a tea seller can become PM or not. Even though we can give you some credit for your proven track record in Gujarat, but u are not alone here (read competition with Patniak in Orissa, Nitish in Bihar, others). Any body can hire smart people and write a very a nice a vision document about the country and talk about, just selling dreams will not help. You cannot get vote just by saying others are bad, you need to show you are better then others on real issues, Lets talk about some real issues: 1) Economy and Foreign Policy: If we talk about Bajpai govt as example, it is proven that both BJP have same economic policy as congress, then how are u different. BJP and congress both have same foreign policy of non alignment, are you going to adapt any new policy. 2) Corruption: I believe coz of this issue, our economy is in bad shape. Investers(FDI) are shying away from investing in India coz of massive corruption in government machinery, and due to low FDI rupee is falling and hence inflation going up. As far as my knowledge you have never been a supporter of strong anti corruption law (eg. Lokaukta in Gujarat), and by inducting Yeddurappa and Nisankh back into BJP you have proved that corruption is non issue for you. It gives me fear of how u will fix economy. Also you have never shown any intreast in bringing transparency in sysyem, would you dare to public source of all 1200 Cr. donation of BJP (let it be the smallest amount). What BJP govt did to bring black money back when they were in power. 3) Kashmir: Are you going have war with Pak to fix Kashmir, what is your solution. What BJP did when they were back in power. (Everyone knows how Bajpai did not allow army to cross border during Kargil war, and then coffin scam.) 4) Naxal : I am really scared when you say you will fix it by Army. 5) Do you believe in direct democracy, I guess yes coz you said not only PPP, it should be PPPP model. Good to hear that, but need more details on that. 6) Subsidy: Are you against subsidy, how will you make sure their will not be crony capitalism in this country (Why only one industrial group is growing so fast in Gujarat, and at national level in BJP and congress rule). 7) Police reforms: What is your view on police reforms, what you have done for the same in Gujarat. What Bajpai govt did for it, what other BJP state govt have done for it. 8) Judiciary reform: How may new courts you have opened in Gujarat, how you will fix it, how many new courts Bajpai govt opened. lets us know your plans. 9) Independent CBI and CAG: will you write it in your manifesto that you make CBI and CVC independent. 10) Black Economy: what is your plan to fix this. What you have done for it in Gujarat. Are you going to fix real estate industry( it has biggest inflow of black money) 11) FDI in retail: Are you going to change congress government decision on FDI as done by Delhi government, since your official position is that you are against FDI in retail. 12) Immigration: How will fix problem of immigration into big cities. You alliance in Maharashtra are against people from few north states coming to work their, dont you think you should not have alliance with such parties. Otherwise what is your your moral right to ask for vote form people of northern states. 13) Strong Labor law: What you have done to strengthen labor law in Gujarat. Please try to understand your fight in 2014 is not against congress (they are already dead), your fight is against real issues. I will give my vote to you if I get convincing answer for above issue clearly defined in BJP 2014 manifesto. Note: I am writing this as an Indian citizen who is yet to make his mind about whom to vote in 2014.
