Along with shaping and forming the perfected mind, educating it, and more, and taking care of that vessel (your body) designated to be the one to take you through life, theres boosting and fine tuning your armory of coping mechanisms: IE emotional and mental escapes, which empower the mind to re-energize. Just a few seconds sometimes is all it takes, but a few hours, or more, is even better. As life tosses more creative ways of stressing you out, right in your lap, thus, you should prepare to confront it with and equally diverse list of management skills: embrace an old activity (buy a coloring book and get a box of crayons), create a new one (pick up a new musical instrument)... plan a small trip to look forward to (day trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway).... CONSTRUCTIVE, not DESTRUCTIVE activities. We have to face this journey like a coach, with an ever-changing list of plays that we toss at a seasons worth of challenging adversaries. :-D
