Along with the rest of the earth knowledge a.k.a. pagan practices, the Fire Piston met its demise at the early stage of the white mans campaign to rule the world. With the arrival the spanish conquistadors came the purging of earth religions and knowledge of the world, which was critical in creating a world order where knowledge was to become synonymous with power. Africa, North and South America and Asia all experienced eradication of old science and history around that time, under the guise of religious fervor. Common currency was then introduced to make people work without the need to wage war. Later in history, British East India Trading Company and Dutch West India Companies split economic control of the conquered lands to efficiently usurp their natural resources with the help of the local puppet leaders the companies have put in place. From gold and diamonds to pins and coffins, the common people of conquered lands exhaust their natural resources to create these products only to be paid enough to stay alive. All of these things were done so that one day we could chitchat about trivial things thru the technology created from Africas gold and Asias labor, while in the background we get buried in debt from bad loans for the fanciful things we buy, pay royalties and taxes with every purchase and pretend this is progress.
