Alright, I am this close to turning my backyard into a shooting gallery in the next 20 minutes. I hate killing anything (I never really have killed anything except for my many attempts at a huge fish tank). But the hope of friendship based on mutual respect with the 20 something plus squirrels was crossed over night as they raided some of my tomatoes and peppers. Boundaries must be set. With much sadness it might be time to recruit my brother David Raydo, pull out my BBQ Gun and declare war. Too bad I dont drink any more, this sounds like something that should be done with a cooler of cheap beer, maybe a tin of Kodiak Wintergreen and some blaring country rock music. Im thinking my regular Pandora choice of Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Jack Johnson or the Samples wont set the right mood Im looking for. What do I do with a pile a dead squirrels? Maybe hang them from the trees as a warning to the ever growing explosion of rabbits. Time to go all Kansas country boy (easier said then done for a bleeding SF hippie at heart).
