Alright I need some help. No nasty comments or you will be blocked. As simple as that. I have a 97 k1500 with the 5.7. Went to start it one day and the nose cone on the starter broke off. So I got a new starter. Put it on. And it would crank a few turns and grind. Come to find out Im missing bout 5 teeth on my flywheel now. After a few times my starter just clicks now. Did the solenoid go out? I have a life time warranty so I can take it back and get a new one. But other than the starter. Checked for spark and wasnt getting spark. There was a wire going from my coil to under my dash that wasnt hooked up. It did have a remote start but I took it out. What was the wire for? Im thinking it was hooked to a fuse in my fuse box. And ideas would be helpful. Before the starter broke it ran great.
