Alright Ive had it up to here with these riots and protests...lets stop pulling the race card the second something happens Are there trigger happy cops out there?...Yes there are some Are some protocols in need of an overhaul?...Absolutely. That goes for probably every job/industry out there. Are there racists in the police force?...There are racists everywhere unfortunately! What really grinds my gears is the lack of common sense and the fact that people continue to ignore simple societal norms (ie: obey the law). You rewind some of these incidents to the moment where the suspect chose to BREAK THE LAW and then say to yourself hmmm if that individual hadnt... I dont know robbed a store...would all of this have happened? The answer is probably not. I dont know about you protesters out there but when I break the law, Im damn sure to watch myself. Cant speak for any felonies, but for instance when Ive gotten pulled over for speeding I immediately shut off my car, pull the keys out of the ignition and keep my hands visible at all times. Please note from the profile picture IM WHITER THAN CASPER! Thats just for a simple moving violation. When you are caught in the wrong, do the right thing and let the officer do his/her job. Please dont transform into a victim and suddenly feel persecuted because of the color of your skin. This whole color thing and feelings of persecution by the police is a self fulfilling prophecy. If you didnt do anything wrong you have nothing to worry about! I dont care if youre green, white, purple! If you broke the law that was your mistake! Does Eric Garner get tackled to the ground because hes black? Uhhhhh no. Look at the behavior that draws the police response. The protocol on the take down itself is admittedly a little shaky but please stop classifying these incidents as hate crimes! Im really sick of the way the race card gets played in this country. Were far from perfect in terms of race relations but these riots and protests do nothing but set us back! Im pretty sure the officer in both of those cases arent rejoicing over the fact that they killed a man just like Im fairly certain they dont go home at night on don their KKK outfit. Lets be real here. Those officers are gonna live with this for the rest of their life. Now will somebody please gag Al Sharpton with a copy of the tax code. Thank you kindly!
