Alright, VBS parents and volunteers... its almost GO TIME! We have 99 kids registered and ready for VBS fun this week (Come on, really?! Please help me get one more weirdo before midnight. And no, your dogs do not count.) Parents - Technically the Sing and Play Stampede starts at 9:00 am, but parents usually start dropping kiddos off around 8:45. On the first day, it might be a good idea to shoot for 8:30ish (even if youre ready before our Check-In girls are). We have two check in areas: one inside the sanctuary for those who are already registered and one just outside the front doors for those who are not. Once you are checked in, well tell you where to meet your crew leaders for the week :-) Volunteers - Please arrive no later than 8:30 am. We will have a huddle and a prayer at 8:45 in the middle of the sanctuary. You guys are amazing and I cant wait to spend this week ministering to all of these kids with you! Everyone - Please pray tonight and throughout this week for the physical and spiritual health of the 150+ church staff, volunteers, and kids whose lives will be enriched by our VBS program. Please pray for fun, smooth daily programming that allows every single one of our children to permanently know that they are dearly and specifically loved by their Creator. Least of all, please pray that I am able find find disappearing ink by 11:30 tomorrow morning. Okay, that last ones not as spiritual, but it is still important ;-) See you in the morning!!!!!!
