Alright folks, only ONE MORE DAY until we launch Hipnotikks largest event in its history! A Canada-wide competition, offering 5 lucky winners a chance to participate in a cypher and associated music video alongside a note-worthy artist from the USA (his name is yet to be released). As a top performer in the hip hop industry, he would provide a major influence on Canadian Artists, whilst allowing his fans to engage with him in a new and exciting way. Aside from the uniqueness of the competition, this cypher will be innovative in its entire style. There is a theme chosen to represent a single issue in society, which will be maintained in all portions of the cypher, and will allow us to film the project as a story. Additionally, each participating artist (the headliner and the top 5 winners) will be asked to choose a style of dance that will be performed as their portion is sung; with each dance performed as a representation of the message behind the music. We will supply these dancers, and pair each rapper/dancer duo together once the winners are announced. This cypher would be filmed in 4K resolution by our skilled team of videographers, audio technicians, and editors – who set the bar at excellence and do not stop until they have achieved it. This contest will run for a solid month (from December 15 – January 15), allowing the last half of January for our judges to review submissions and choose the 5 winners that will join our main artist in the cypher.
