Alright so Im not going to publicly humiliate a person by calling them by name but I am however going to make a formal statement in defense of a dear friend of mine! A few days ago a spiteful neighbor decided to contact a board member of a humane society in order to be ugly to a neighbor. The dog she called in had been missing for a while and managed to find his way back home sorta but landed at the neighbors! Well....this is where things got way out of line! I will not mention in any way who or what but I will state that the dog made his way officially home prior to the member arriving and was contained on his owners property. Without any regard for the law this member had the sheriff dept go and get the dog and bring it back to the neighbors property without ever speaking to the owner to get their side of the situation nor did said person examine the other dogs on the property for abuse or neglect. Said person also seized the dog without going through the proper chains and getting a seizure warrant from the judge! Now as a board member you are just that...once you leave that meeting you are merely a VOLUNTEER! You are NOT an animal officer you are NOT an animal warden...and you in NO way carry a license that allows you to take it upon yourself to seize a dog! You in no way as a representative of a humane society should ever go based off of one side to a story and you certainly should NEVER make a public statement about any case that involves a dog however in your situation you merely made yourself look ignorant because you had NO court order or warrant to seize the animal therefore your case was voided upon your negligence to follow proper protocol and take statements from all parties involved! So help me if I ever see you face to face I have a few words for you myself! Id also like you to know in case you see this...I have the dog and he just left the vet in perfect health minus needing some groceries....you obviously never owned a huntin dog who likes to run!! Your statement for public pity of if he survives was a little far fetched and you have show your true lack of knowledge in every aspect of this case. My suggestion to you would be to 1.resign and stay home! Or 2. NEVER try to manipulate a situation to fit your political need to feel worthy of praise! THERE IS NO PRAISE IN RESCUE! Theres no off time no sick time and no time to ever take matters into our own hands for our own selfish need to feel special! You arent special NONE of us are! I just happen to be the one you crossed who in no way shape form or fashion will ever let anything go! IM WATCHING YOU AND YOUR EVERY MOVE! So help me one more time I hear of anything of this nature or anything I find you involved in that I dont think represents the establishment as a whole I will post your name and the entire case for the world to see! DISCLAIMER!!! In no way were any actual employees of said society involved with this other than allowing me to return the dog to his home and ensuring that this was handled properly and correctly! Said board member acted ALONE in her abuse of intimidation and power! Now yall have a wonderful day and if you read this maam! Its now at rest unless you push me!
