Alright, so for those who havent seen the news yet: We discovered at my scan yesterday that my cerclage failed and I have some dilation going on (3 cm). I was transported last night from Muary to Vanderbilt, where Im settled in for as much of a long haul as we can squeeze out of this pregnancy. We also learned yesterday that Vanderbilt has begun selective resuscitation on a case by case basis at 23 weeks, which we hit tomorrow (my birthday) but we really need to get to at least 24 weeks. I was woken up this morning by a younger, redheaded Benedict Cumberbatch moonlighting as a doctor. Dr. Pierce, the really great doctor, who placed my cerclage, will be in later to discuss our plan of action, but right now it looks like its going to be a wait and see kinda thing. They may attempt another rescue cerclage, but were not sure yet. Ill keep you posted as we learn more.
