Alright, so what is The FIRST Day Of The End Of The World? Its quite simple really. The book explores the life of former striptease/exotic dancer K, (Kaitlin Mcnamara) as she tries to make sense of a devastating future world in which all of the worlds resources have been all but depleted, leaving the elite to close themselves up inside of a massive Ziggurat, while the rest of the worlds population is left to suffer in the world that they destroyed. K will befriend many odd characters in her journey to try to make sense of it all, from a troupe of sideshow freaks, to a distressed furrie and several other elements of a subcultural nature. The book comes as a great distance from Wills Downfall, and will offer an eerie look into what could be a very possible future. What will really nail the series down heavily, is the lack of technology (outside of the Ziggurat) so people that have been used to communicating with the world via their cellphone, will now be lost in a land that has since forgotten them. After all, theyre just refuse. Only the elite made it into the Ziggurat, after all... Stay tuned to this page for more updates.
