Alright time for a rant! I had told my landlord that rent would be late this month and even told her when I would pay it. It was only a few days late. I had it mailed yesterday so depending on when they checked their P.O. Box it should have been there today or they should see it tomorrow.Today Noah Semedo III and I got served summon papers. Apparently we owe them rent and $200 for water damage. First off there is no water damage. This would probably be in response to the times that we had to have them come over to fix the leaky pipe and to un-clog the drain. We did not break the pipe or cause the drain to clog. Sub-freezing temperatures and crappy plumbing caused that. During that time I had actually tried my hardest to clean it out myself without calling them since anytime I need something fixed they take forever to fix it or just never get to it. Yes eventually it did get fixed but then it clogged back up and I bought drain un-clogging stuff and fixed it myself. Now Noah did talk to the HR lady for my landlord and she has said that once they get the rent they will drop it. They have also sent they exact same thing to another tenant. I have to ask how are you going to have the exact same thing for 2 separate tenants? They also said that the water & damage is standard. How does that make sense? All I know is this shit better be dropped! I have only been a few days to the most a week late with rent, I have never caused any issues with my landlord except the time HE came over and hit Noah for saying fix our water heater or we would call CODES! that was only said because we were going 4 days without hot water. Any other time we have been good tenants. This better be fixed, I do not want to miss a day of work to go to court to embarrass your ass!
