Alright, time for this weekends recap. -This weekend has been hands down, thee most epic weekend of my lifetime. Exhilarating, addicting, never enough, need more, humbling, exciting....these words barely describe how I felt all weekend. Im hooked and I need more! So, im racing on the 19th now. Saturday, started good until my dunlops kept pushing while exiting turn 2. No matter what line I picked, the front just would not stay. Immediately took some old advice and hopped onto a new set of bridgestones. Probably the second best decision Ive made all weekend. James Morse, John Warkentin, Tige Daane I cannot thank you guys enough for providing some killer tires, knowledge and suspension tips and tricks. 1st race, Almost looped it, still managed to over take 3 riders before and going into 1. stayed in 4th until I crashed in turn 4 on lap 4 of 6. Learned my lesson the hard way in the omega. Banged leg, busted blood vessels in my eyes....this is all part of the sport and the accident only made me want it more. I wasnt letting some discomfort stop me from running sundays 2 races. Replaced the clip on and the gouged front tire. Duct taped the fairings together, borrow a new front wheel and windscreen and off I went. Sundays races felt a lot better then saturday, minus finding out that my forks are bent and my triple tree is tweaked. I did the best I could, felt like I was working less and my times were consistently dropping. Finished both races and had some fun battles. I cant wait to go race on the 19th of this month! Abel Alvarez, my pit crew for the weekend. I cant thank him enough! between tire changes, safety wiring constantly, cooking, helping out in every possible way he can. Dude, you rock and Im extremely grateful you came out and helped me all weekend. I really cant thank you enough. Dani Martin, you are amazing. She took amazing care of me and Apex all weekend and I couldnt ask for more. Shes the reason Im not a lobster or getting a IV lol Thank you so much Dani! John W. I really cant thank you enough for all the crude humor and the antagonizing comments that pushed me to get my race license. Im hooked no question about it. Robert Bedley for the last minute parts I needed so that I could race this weekend, I owe you a few beers. I wouldnt have made it out if you didnt help. And with the omega tips, those were spot on and today was much smoother. Robert Danielyan so much advice in such a short time, thank you! Shane, man you rock. Youve done quite a bit for me and im extremely grateful to know you in this racing world so thank you! There are so many more people I want to thank so instead of me posting all of them on Facebook, ill just message or call you guys personally and thank you. Cant thank you guys enough for all the support, encouragement, jokes, sun gardening, incredible advice so Id rather show my thanks personally. Ive got to give a huge shout out to TrackXperience, Inc., my very first ever track day was with them not all that long ago, Ive came a long way in a short period of time and I cannot thank them enough for their amazing organization and making the possible for me. If you havent done a track day and are looking to experience it for the first time, dont hesitate to sign up with them! Great personnel, instructors, were just one big family and thats how they treat it. So thank you to everyone at trackXperience, I know each one of you has helped me along the way on more then one occasion.
