Alrighty friends! I try my best not to do this often, but Id really like some help spreading word about 2 dogs that need a home. Id be happy to give more story later, but to avoid a text wall I will make it as short as I can. Yesterday La Perra Curandera and Chad grabbed a pair of Pitties off the road and we kept them at the salon and then ABQ Dogtown for the day, in hopes owners would show. Towards the end of the day we had Animal Welfare come get them, and then this morning found out, in short, that the owners dont intend to go claim them. They seem to have AMAZING temperments, friendly but very calm despite being only 7 months old. We also learned that one has a VERY hard time being apart from his brother, and our fear now is that they will be adopted out separately and the one may end up returned (maybe even repeatedly) and we all know where that could lead. I dont have to tell all of you how close I came to just adopting them and doing my best to make it work, but that would be unfair to both them and my boys. These guys would make great sidekicks for all kinds of adventure! We (both families) are willing to sponsor their adoption, conditional upon them getting a home together. They are released from Stray Wait on Saturday, if anyone is interested in them (or knows anyone) please contact me. Please Share :)
