Als thought for today: More pseudo statistics. So now we know. Immigrants from none EU countries are really good for us but immigration from non E U is bad for us. This is described as hard academic information by its author,(who incidentally has a foreign accent). Oh dear, oh dear. more theoretical crap from the ivory towers of academia. Let me say, that as an ex management accountant who had difficulty digging out the the truth of what was happening on the shop floor in an even smaller unit ie a factory, there is no way that this can be calculated. Id love to be let lose to audit this garbage. So how do they know the numbers actually involved? What is the cost of the impact on infrastructure, health, education, housing services etc? What is the impact on the wages of the indigenous population? Fear not though folks, I dare say in a few months we shall have hard evidence of the damage to the economy resulting from immigration which will be equally flawed. We should always be wary of pseudo hard information produced by whomsoever. Rest assured whatever body produces these, they always have their own personal agenda. Even if I accepted the basic information used ( which I dont) such studies are narrow in the extreme. As an example of an element which no academic can quantify; local schools here in Dudley have hundreds of languages spoken as first language by students. Try calculating the adverse effect of that on our kids education and therefore the long term effect on UKs ability to compete in the world prof! My advise is to trust the evidence of what you see and what is obvious.
