Also at Baldwin Wallace College I faced the overt racism of the KKK burning crosses on the campus trying to snatch people out of our beds in the middle of the night hanging black dolls out of the windows with ropes around the necks to let us know that we were not welcomed. My drama teacher was horrible toward me and sanitation was not an asset. Cortez Everett, Mary Morrison and others can attest to the KKK matters for sure. I got up out there to avoid further situations. These are but a few examples.
