Althea and I went to the 3I show this morning. We parked over in the lot just east of the big building. We had planned to walk the exhibits outside, but when we got to the north entrance of the Expo Center, we were wore out, and I saw a lady with a cart and I asked if we could rent it, and she said we would have to go all the way to the west end of the grounds to get one. We told her we were just going to go inside and sit down, as we couldnt walk that far, so she and a friend took Althea and I all the way to the west end and we rented a cart, and we really explored the whole place. Everything was fine , except Althea did just what she does when I am drivind a vehile, she continually was saying watch out, you are going to hit that man, or woman, or child . In other words, she is a great back=seat driver, but after 58 years, it really dont bother me. Actually, I enjoy her doing it. We went inside, and enjoyed that a great deal. George and LaDonna Brown had a great collection of old, restored John Deere tractors. The oldest was a 29 D. I loved those old Model Ds. Thats all my Dad ever had. He had, when I grew big enough to drive them. a 1934, a 1936 and a 1947, They had a sound all their own. After that we bought a DVD The Monuments Men We have just finished watching it, and really enjoyed it.
