Although Brown’s death is undeniably tragic, it’s not evidence of racism. And it’s not evidence that black men are shot and killed by law enforcement as a matter of course. On the other hand, 49,851 law enforcement officers were assaulted in 2013, according to FBI statistics, as reported by CNS News. This works out to 136 each and every day. And of that number, 76 officers lost their lives in the line of duty. But we don’t hear about that so much. After all, it happens 136 times a day.
