Although I dont normally do this, I must! The other day I posted about the failure of our boiler which heats our home, the three days without heat, and the need for its replacement. It was the single most costly repair, update, remodel, etc. that weve ever had to incur on any home weve ever owned, and frankly we were going to finance the repair with a short-term loan. We praise God for the generosity of a Jesus-following family who dropped a check on us last night which will cover more than 70% of the expense! Though we did not ask anyone but God for help, He has shown us once again just how much he cares about the seemingly mundane everyday needs of His children. After the innumerable times the Lord has provided in such timely ways, I know we shouldnt be surprised that He is such a good, faithful, and gracious God, but we are floored. Now, can someone come over and pick us up off the floor?
