Although I miss My Kenna Im having a great weekend. Friday it was lunch at Brooklyn with 2 of my nieces, a wonderful time well spent. They look terrific dont they? Pat, your Chicago dog looked so good it made my mouth water and I had to have a skimmed down version for dinner. Hope we can do it again next month. Spent a little time in Appleton shopping for cloths that fit. Now thats a laugh. Have you ever tried to buy anything that fits a 4 foot 10 or 11 inch body? Even the petite short need to be shortened. Sharon drove home in a rain storm so bad you couldnt see the hood of the car. That was enough excitement for Friday. Sat. we drove to Milwaukee, with a stop at Bublitz restaurant for breakfast. Visited a long time friend in St. Lukes. He can use all the prayers you can give. Got lost before we found the hospital, directions said turn left....no street, lol. After visit on to the State Fair for cream puffs and got lost again. Finally found a Park & Ride where we had a little laugh with the guys running it when they started to joke with us about not knowing what we were doing and I gave and I gave them a one finger salute. They all cracked up and said we were the most fun they had all day. Got to the fair grounds, had our cream puffs right away the line was 3 lines long. If you have been there you know what Im talking about. Saw flowers, crafts and tons of people selling stuff. After walking through those 3 buildings and a great part of the grounds we were to come home without incident. Finished the night with deep fried mushrooms from Primos and watching the Packer practice Family Night on the big screen TV. All in all an EXCELLENT weekend so far and now am going to breakfast with oldest son & wife. Have a super Sunday all you fb peeps. PS Sharons cream puff had more cream than mine LOL
