Although I posted the following B&W photo back in August, I decided it was time to re-post this one and two others. The first is from the first day of school for my brothers back in 1962. From left to right are brothers Brian DuBois (age 9), Neil DuBois (age 8) and brother Michael (age 12). Standing in front, with his patented huge mutant head, is your faithful correspondent, age 3. Not shown are brothers Dennis DuBois (only a few months old) and Stephen DuBois, eight years in the future. Next photo are the brothers again, standing in front of the old homestead on Dover Point Road, in Dover, N.H., more than 50 years later. From left to right are Dennis (Senior Director of Finance at Carlson Hotels), Michael (IT expert at CMC in Manchester), Neil (owner, Bitter End Trading Co.), me (professional liar), Stephen (Chief, Portsmouth Police Department) and Brian (retired Nashua firefighter, P/T enforcement officer Plymouth State College). And last, but definitely not least, my 87-year-old parents, Mary and Arthur, spending one last day at where they lived for more than 55 years, raising the six of us. Theyve now moved up the street to a new place thats brighter, on one floor, and much safer for them. About the only thing missing in the new photo are lunch boxes. Alas, as we were moving things out, we couldnt find any.
