Although I remain on staff through the end of the month, today - TopicsExpress

Although I remain on staff through the end of the month, today marks my last day in the office as I prepare to head toward Denver, where I will begin as the Interim Regional Minister for the Central Rocky Mountain Region on November 1. It has been a privilege for me to work with and among the Disciples of Oklahoma. Much of my joy in regional ministry comes from experiencing the depth and breadth of the church. I have the opportunity to work and worship in all kinds of churches: in cities and towns, large and small, strong and struggling. We are a diverse group of Disciples in Oklahoma, yet we are called to be one church. Nowhere is our unity better expressed than at the table where we share the Lords Supper, and nowhere can we better see our diversity. As I leave, I carry the memory of the churches I have visited in the images of your communion tables. I wish time had allowed me time to get to all of our congregations, but Im thankful for each church that welcomed me. I want to leave those images with you as well, and so I created this video collage of 100 Oklahoma tables. I pray this will be for you, as it has been for me, a reminder that we are one church with many members, one body made up many parts, working together in ministry. May God continue to bless you in your work and ministry. Blessings, Dean
