Although having picked the best lineup of bands assembled at such a relatively small festival, giving themselves a modest early-evening Saturday slot - The Unknown Stuntmen played possibly the most exceptional performance at Funny As Folk Festival. With Pete OHara providing maximum quality through the desk and PA gear. Still THE best sound engineer around and making 8-piece bands sound like the most perfectly recorded bootleg vinyl records! Sarah Ray, thankyou for encouraging me to beat the nerves & get my guitar out at the woodland stage on Friday night, singing amazingly with me and being my festival hero. Love. You. It served me well all weekend, jamming every night there and meeting the sweetest/talented/original and most genuine, hilarious people!! Zeph, Lucy Jackson...I dont know how you did it, but please keep doing it. Every band seemed to have the gig of their life -all worthy headliners. In the beautiful surrounds of Cabourne Parva, Funny As Folk was THE event of summer 2014.
