Although it is my birthday and it is a time for celebration and party time!!! :) - It is also a time to remember and thank God for another year of life. Five years ago, today, on my 28th Birthday, while 25 weeks pregnant with my son, they put a tube down my throat and placed me in a medically induced coma due to pneumonia brought on by Swine Flu (H1N1). I was in a coma for almost 6 weeks - gave birth to my son 3 months premature, and did not even get to meet him until he was 12 days old - or hold him until he was 2 WEEKS old. I have written down my story for others to read along with pictures (attached). I thank God that he not only spared my life and my sons, but that we are both thriving, happy, healthy and able to share his goodness and miracles today. I look forward to celebrating my birthday in heaven someday and meeting all the amazing prayer warriors who prayed for me and my son. I hope He comes soon. I dont want to be here anymore. The devil has made a nasty place to live and unfortunately there are those that blame all that nastiness on God. I know that God doesnt always heal everything and everyone that we wish and that God doesnt always say yes, but His timing and His plan are perfect. We can trust that although we may not see the battle, He does. IF we could see the end from the beginning, we would agree that His law is just and His choices and paths for our lives were necessary, even if painful, in order to further His kingdom. My birthday wish and prayer today is that those that do not see God, those that do not hear God, and those that do not believe in Him WILL see Him, hear HIM, and BELIEVE in Him.
