Although its not Dylans FIRST time volunteering, he was just offered a JOB at Sholan Farms as the NEW John Chapman, better known as, JOHNNY APPLESEED for the Hayrides! He will have all winter to memorize the tour script and plenty of time for me to make his custom original outfit. On the way home from the farm I said, Dylan, you do realize this is an unpaid volunteer position and QUITE a COMMITMENT! He responded, Mom, do you realize what a GREAT thing I will be doing for the community? I put my arm around him, gave a BIG squeeze and said, Thats my kid! CHEERS to old traditions and NEW adventures. What a fun thing to look forward to :)
