Although my diatribe on this would not be as eloquent as this article, when I first heard about this I figured that with all the environmental posts I would read on Facebook and see on TV that this product would die a quick death. Instead I see refills for every coffee imaginable for this brewer on every grocery store shelf everywhere. I shouldnt find it strange that this has happened; a very wasteful product to become so damn popular in an era of great hand wringing and gnashing of teeth about all things environmental. I would not use one of these on principle alone never mind the expense. With the number of these refills I see around town it further supports that old adage, A fool and his money probably lives in Calgary.
