Although the theme for last nights Dine & Donate event hosted by TYKES (The Young Carers East Sutherland) was Frozen we hope that all who attended enjoyed the warm reception at Dunrobin Castle. The evening started with guests being greeted by the Sutherland School pipe band who were amazing as always. Local girl Rebecca Grewcock was also playing the harp at the top of the main stair which set the scene for a magical evening to remember. Shortly after this guests enjoyed a five course dinner cooked by Alex Kidd and his team with wine and entertainment and presentations showing what TYKES do for local children in Sutherland. After the dinner, raffle and auction it was estimated that this fantastic local charity raised a staggering £12500 on the evening. We look forward to holding this event again in October 2016 and cant wait to see what theme is chosen for this next time.
