Although this was a river cruise at times it resemble a photographic workshop. Twice we had early morning calls, if requested, to walk to an elevated position to witness the sunrise. Typically the weather spoiled one but we had some success. On the day these images were captured we walked, ladened with gear, for about half an hour before climbing 85 steps to a viewing area on one of the many temples. The steps were even and very manageable but I still managed to trip on the very top step and damage both my camera and a lens. As you can see the damage did not spoil the results......
