Although wrestling season is just beginning, we are already thinking about post-season. PJWs, MAWAs, War at the Shore, and the Ohio TofC are the tournaments your child should strive to win, in order to be recognized on a state level. Therefore, beginning next session, Red Hawk will start a brand new schedule that accommodates the varied ability levels of our wrestlers. Beginning February 1st, practices will be as follows: Monday-Thursday 6:00-7:30 (K-6) 7:30-9:00 (7-12) *Younger wrestlers who are advanced may participate in the second class, if given permission by Seth Ciasulli. Also, we plan to create another summer dual team and will travel to Pop & Flo National Duals, NHSCA, Northeast Duals, etc. Please inquire if your child is interested in participating. We do suggest that he/she trains with us if he/she plans to wrestle on our team, because it allows us to give feedback during an actual match, in addition to what we see at practice. (Many of these teams are K-8; graduating 8th graders are eligible through the summer months.) We will conduct wrestle-offs a few weeks before the first dual tournament.
