Alty Market and Market House Alty would like to to take this final weekend chance to wish all our likers, followers, regular visitors, locals and those who have travelled from far a very Merry Christmas. We want to thank everyone who has visited and who re-visit, supported us, thanked us, congratulated us, the evangelists who have told and brought others and the people who have made us, in such a short period, part of their lives. You made Market House and Alty Market so special and so successful. We salute you. We now regularly feed over 6,000 people each week, sell more than 1,000 bottles of wine, make nearly 2,000 pizzas, sell 1,900 cups of coffee serve over 1,500 pints of craft beer, 900 handmade chocolates, over 600 fresh baked handmade Katie cakes, weve lost count of the number of rare breed, flat iron, grass fed steaks and the official pie count is not yet in! God bless Jack & Maz in the pot wash!!...and thats just inside Market House - we havent even started on the fabulous food traders, sometimes changing, sometime regular, always brilliant in the covered market. So from Honest Crust, Great North Pie Co, Sam Joseph Chocolates, Market House Coffee, Wolfhouse Kitchen, Tender Cow, Bitter Twisted, Jack in the Box, Reserve Wines, the 900 traders that have served, surprised and delighted you at Alty Market this year, all the staff at Market House and Alty Market we wish you a heartfelt, independent, Merry Christmas - the kind thats not available online. Keep you eyes peeled for our adventures in 2015. We promise we wont stand still. In the meantime Christmas opening times are set out below, the last two speciality Markets are this weekend (until they return as weekenders in 2015 starting on Sat 17th Jan). Weve a family friendly festive and free classical Christmas concert in Market House on Sunday night and for those lucky 200 with their hands on tickets, weve New Years Eve at Market House.
