Alumni- heres a note from Julie regarding an invitation to travel and perform with the Choirs in France. Deadline for decision is February 10! Details below: You are invited to sing with the K-State Choirs in France in May 2014! Members of the K-State Choirs will be performing in France at acoustically marvelous venues including: Eglise La Madeleine Eglise Saint André (near the Normandy beaches) and Notre Dame Cathedral as part of our international tour May 18-25, 2014, which will include paying our respects and performing a concert in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the D-Day invasion of Normandy. We will be spending much of our time in Paris, visiting the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Place de la Concorde, Luxembourg Palace and Gardens, Latin Quarter, Place de la Bastille, and other highlights. We will also get to visit Versailles, and folks will have much free time to explore (and spend as much time as they can at the Louvre!) The program will include the following plus 2-3 more Americana songs that will be set/approved soon. *Bolded pieces are songs alums will join us on at each concert. Practice files will be available! If we can get 4 more alums to go, the price drops to $3,430! TOUR INCLUSIONS - Airline transportation provided by scheduled air carrier (subject to change pending space availability at the time of group booking). - U.S. Government airline taxes, fees and estimated fuel surcharge up to $600. - Transportation within Europe by modern deluxe motorcoach. - Concert Arrangements are professionally provided in superior venues with attention to technical details and effective publicity. - Accommodations in superior tourist-class (3 & 4-star) hotels chosen for location, reputation, cleanliness, and service.
