Am I the only one that hates it when people judge a game on what theyve heard, and not actually trying it out them self before judging it as bad? I have a few friends that say SMITE is horrible and what not etc. There reasons? Because its 3rd person view! Theres no competitive play! W-Well it just sucks!! Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. The 3rd person view is an interesting thing, and I honestly prefer it over Leagues top view (I play with a locked camera, sue me.) So not having to move the camera around, I feel, is awesome. You have to have a different sort of map awareness. Secondly, SMITE is having e-sports tournaments and whatnot despite being in the beta. Id say thats pretty impressive. I dont think there are many games out there that have competitive play at all while in beta, right? (I could be wrong, but yeah.) I also feel like they balance their champions a little better than Riot does, but this is more of a personal preference thing than anything. I like the more diverse kits of the characters. I used SMITE as an example of this, but I feel like this with all games. Play the game before you really, -really- judge it. /end rant.
