Am going to seek police permit to protest against Government respond to the POTAG strike and the comment made by the Deputy Minister of Education concerning the final exams and the National Service Program. To: The Commissioner of Police, Accra. Sir, I am Mr. Godfred Amoah, a student of Cape Coast Polytechnic, submit that I am planning to embark on a one-man demonstration in protest against the Government respond to the three month old strike of the Polytechnic Teachers Association of Ghana (POTAG) and the recent comment made by the Deputy Minister of Education concerning this years’ National Service Program, from the Kaneshie footbridge to the Flagstaff House via Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Nima Police Station, Arko Egyei Interchange on 15-8-2014 from 9 am to 12 noon. I write you to allow any Polytechnic Students who will wish to join me in the course of the demonstration. I assured you that I will abide by the regulations imposed by the authorities and will not resort to any lawlessness during the demonstration. Therefore I request you to permit me take the demonstration. Yours faithfully
