Amanda Cairns studied at Bucks New University and has gained a B.A (Hons) in Performing Arts. She also has LAMDA qualifications and has been involved with the Performing Arts for 12 years now. She is CRB checked and has Public Liability Insurance and is also First Aid trained. She has worked closely with primary schools, teaching drama and is currently a drama and musical theatre coach with The Enchanted Players Theatre company in Reading. Amanda has appeared in many productions playing the main role of Serena in Fame, The Incredible Thump in The Cage Birds, Bernice in Drinking Companions and other productions from Chicago, The Suffregettes, Cats and Annie. She has also directed several plays from Confusions to Howard Barkers Wounds to the Face. Even though Amanda has a lot of experience on stage and teaching She has also recently worked with Ad Astra Productions as the Arts Marketer for the companies show The Pillowman which was put on at Norden Farm Centre of the Arts. Amanda has a passion for the performing arts industry and is determined to make young people feel inspired.
