Amanda asks: I have a question about fencing and stress , I have a 1 year old boer / Nubian cross Mona. She has started climbing and pushing through my 4’ high mesh wire no climb fencing she refuses to stay in the back pasture but is perfectly happy in our yard that is fenced the same way. She is always making an attempt to get in the house. She was dam raised and was as wild as can be when we brought her home last summer. She cries and jumps and literally freaks out when she is tired of being fenced out of sight of us and the children. She has a 17 month old Nigerian dwarf companion who she treats like her mom looking to her for what’s good to eat and where to rest. She to has began to feel anxious when she cant see us. Could I be missing a predator near by could this effect their behavior? We do have deer, would their scent effect the goats? Thanks
