Amazed!! --from my blog: empowerpastanxiety/ Sitting here enjoying a relaxing evening after an awesome dinner. Made spaghetti, and yes, the sauce and meatballs were from scratch!! I dont like cooking but after raising kids for the last 26 years I was forced to tolerate it, and actually got pretty good at it!! Anyways, as I was sitting here I started to think about the live webinar hangout I attended last night. How many of you actually enjoy your job? Or even more importantly, how many of you have supportive and understanding co-workers and bosses? Although Ive been out of the workforce for awhile, I remember those days well. I was an ICU/ER nurse. I loved my job. It actually was the only thing in my life that brought me a feeling of self-worth for a long time. For the most part my co-workers were great, we were a team, a family. But, no matter how good it was, there were always those few co-workers that did whatever they could to tear the team down. Not to mention the administaration whose only job appeared to be making my life a living hell. When I decided to join the Blog Beast at Empower Network I expected I would be on my own, fending for myself. I already had some experience with internet marketing. You know, where everyone is so nice and willing to help out until you join, then everyone just seems to disappear. I was pleasantly surprised when the direct opposite is what I encounter. Below is the video from last night. I want to share this so everyone out there knows that life isnt always what we expect, that sometimes we can be pleasantly surprised. The hangout features Dave Wood, a company co-founder, and a few others who have become very successful. Their genuine concern and willingness to help everyone else out is like a breath of fresh air. I felt more like I was attending a group chat with friends then a company webinar. Their positive attitude, extensive support, and confidence is awesome. I felt inspired afterward.
