Amazed I was selected to participate in a Mission Of Hope with Zoe Ministries. I will be representing our church family and our community with a team of 15 from the Texas Annual Conference. We will travel to Kenya, Africa, February 2-11. During this experience we will spend time with orphan groups that are participating in the three year Zoe Project where they are empowered to be self sustaining and contributing members of their community. This is not a crippling mission of handouts, but one that demonstrates Gods provision in Jeremiah 29:11, for I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. These children, with encouragement, learn to dream, thrive, and succeed. If you know me at all, you know a process that empowers children to rise above their fears and circumstances is near and dear to my heart. Im so excited and will be sharing more.
