Amazing experience today at Garden Island, watching the 21 gun salute and the arrival of the magnificent 7, the Navy vessels that re-enact the delivery of 7 Navy boats to begin the Royal Australian Navy 100 years ago. My team has worked extremely hard in tough conditions over the past 6 or so months to pull together what is a massive project with major complexities to get a massive outcome for Veolia, so it was great to see some of them today lap up that experience down at the wharf. In my career, this has been the biggest project challenge ever, and it comes with a great reward to be the exclusive supplier of our service to all of the ships here in Sydney. Its a truly unbelievable result, with still a lot of hard work to come over the next week or so. Was a great, great feeling to be part of a truly historic occasion, very proud of my team!
