Amazing historical film footage of the little village that I come from in Cornwall. It documents the development that has happened mostly in my lifetime. Now I look at it through totally different eyes - such a shame to see the destruction of cob and stone, only to be replaced by concrete blocks and cement or ticky-tacky timber frame homes. Gone are some fantastic old buildings and the traditional skills that created them - now at least we know better and there is a resurrection of these crafts to create new homes that are healthy and sustainable places to live.
