As the Social Media & Content Manager you will implement content marketing tactics and campaigns which will focus on leveraging and building our active social communities, influencing online conversations, listening to and responding to community feedback, building relationships with influential parties and analyzing and reporting on optimization efforts. We are looking for someone experienced with major social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube among others) and to work with our Webmaster and e-commerce team to build brand stories around sale of our products and brand asset promotions. Youll create copy and execute campaigns with a view to enriching our brand with every word and image selection across all digital channels. You will help make our website more relevant to our customers and you will speak to our growing database in ways they want to be spoken to. You will help us turn fans, followers and readers into leads and customers who love our brand and its ambassadors and who want our products. We are looking for someone who already has a minimum of three years experience in the writing, marketing and social media game and who possesses strong journalistic skills. A person who can write a press release and advise on the correct forms of online advertising, and who can connect brand stories with followers and audiences as they happen. You will balance these immediate tasks, and be a part of the execution of long term campaign ideas, including the creation of our global campaigns from our Torquay HQ, helping us to deliver integrated packages to the wider Rip Curl Group.
