Amazing response Dear Marc, Nice to hear from you and delighted that we share the same values, I backed the Equal Marriage campaign back in October 2012. Since arriving in the Scottish Parliament I have had the pleasure to sit on the Equal Opportunities Committee which is undertaking scrutiny of the Marriage and Civil Partnership (Scotland) Bill. The committee recently published its report (scottish.parliament.uk/parliamentarybusiness/CurrentCommittees/69694.aspx). The majority of the Committee, including myself, supports the general principles of the Bill and recommends that Parliament approves it at Stage 1.
