Amazing start to a pink day. Kerry Kirwan Courneen (Annas home room teacher), her son Blake (classmate of Ellies), Sue June (Thales Apex staff member) and Michelle Proctor (Thales Apex parent) ran the Raleigh City of Oaks marathon as a relay team in honor of God and in memory of Ellie. They raised money in memory of Ellie that will be donated to our church youth group. Just an awesome group of people doing a very nice thing. We cant thank them enough for what they do for us. You can see the shirts that were donated by one of Kerrys friends. Also, for my friends from Greek world, the blue Colts hat Blake is wearing belonged to Deb Ensor. Deb was a close friend of Kerrys family so she was with them in spirit today as well. Tonight, Graces church life group is meeting and the girls are all wearing pink to honor Ellie. Ellie would have been 15 this coming Wednesday, November 5. Great hearts in these girls. We continue to be blessed with the presence of such wonderful people in our lives. You all do so much to honor God and remember Ellie with your efforts. We are so thankful, touched and amazed. God bless you as He is Good!
