Amazing thing happened today at work. Patient comes in for a stress test and recognizes the cardiologist from a decade earlier when hed had a bypass done at another hospital. He asks if Dr. Somethingorother is still practicing. Cardio doesnt recognize the name. He keeps trying to pronounce it. Suddenly I realize its the same surgeon who saved my life via emergent bypass 20 years ago. We learn hes still working. Everybody looks a little amazed at the synchronicity. It was a good day.
