Amazing what eleven hours sleep can do.... back fighting this morning. So..plans.... well for the rest of the week I am afraid I am reserved for my children and have no car until my gear box is fixed. However we do have really important stuff coming up and anyone who wants to be involved would be so welcome. The calendar will be on sale hopefully by the end of the week and we are very much hoping that all two hundred will be snapped up and that we will be heading back to the printers for more. Details of how to order will be posted in due course. Next week Pam Washington and myself will be getting together to organise a pre Christmas coffee morning. This will be a simple affair consisting of hot beverages and cake..... the mere mention of cake will get the safe rescue team there but we would love to see adopters and everyone else too..... nobody panic I will NOT be baking ;) Now this one is important. On December 20th we will be holding a church service in Norwich to comemorate all the UK strays (mostly staffys) that have died throughout the year simply because of over breeding and over population. Now I need help here because I want the church filled.... the press there.... maybe a politician or a celebrity or two..... this could be a wonderful opportunity to highlight the biggest blight on UK rescue and also a mark of respect to the thousands of healthy dogs that die every year. We will of course bring along one of our rescued death row poundies. More details of this to follow.......
