Amazon is trying to take over the home, one room at a time. Started with Dash for the kitchen and now with Echo for the living room and/or the bedroom. I tend to like more Googles approach of telling me they want to have an impact in the world with smart devices like Nest for the home - which is definitely the next frontier for technology together with wearables - instead of Amazons. They are asking people to pay 100 or 200 dollars on devices to invade their homes and sell them more things from Amazon... Come on. Give them for free at least! The stupid/awkward video with Echo helping with spelling and the weather is ridiculous. So forced. They are thinking sell, sell, sell and not really on the customers and how to solve their problems with what they sell.
